CAMY TOTAH

  • Camy is a Palestinian-American artist born and raised in the Bay Area. Her work through Mull & Muse is driven by a deep commitment to travel, storytelling, and community-rooted practices grounded in collective healing and care.

She holds a BA in Studio Art with minors in Marketing and Gender Studies from San José State University, and works as a thoughtful, versatile collaborator across  industries.

Camy’s practice is guided by mindfulness and long-term relationship building. Her lifestyle-documentary approach to storytelling emphasizes authenticity, reciprocity, and place-based exploration, remaining open to experiences rooted in cultural exchange and shared learning.

Beyond her visual work, Camy hosts community gatherings and creative events that cultivate spaces for connection and growth. Her studio practice spans painting, block printing, illustration, and is ever-expanding. As a life guide, she supports people in building sustainable, purpose-driven paths—reflecting her belief that we can all flourish with a deeper understanding of ourselves and interconnectedness to our surroundings.

Her practice is informed by time spent hiking and observing her surroundings, studying material histories, cooking, experiencing live music, and remaining deeply rooted in her Bay Area community—everyday acts that shape how she documents place, culture, and lived experience.

  • Through analog and documentary-driven storytelling, she captures the lived experiences of places and the artisans, makers, and community leaders—building a living archive of shared memory and journey.

Guided by curiosity, her work explores how land, materials, and tradition shape identity and our interconnectedness. She believes that when stories are shared with care and intention, they open space for collective insight, connection, and nourishment across communities. At the core of her practice is a deeper dive into reciprocity—how relationship to land, culture, and one another can support healing and collective evolution.

Camy collaborates with organizations, retreats, brands, nonprofits, and community-led initiatives around the world, joining teams on-site to document their missions, processes, and lived realities. Through this work, she supports place-based storytelling that honors context, materials, and people, fostering deeper relationships between communities and the stories they hold.
