Whatever you're building, we're here to help you take the first step with confidence.

How it began

Mull & Muse began as an experimental practice. A way of creating, observing, and being.

It started with a curiosity around storytelling. A desire to capture what feels real, lived-in, and human. Not just what looks good, but what holds meaning. Over time, that curiosity expanded beyond the camera into something more layered. Shaping ideas, building brands, and creating experiences people could connect to.

How it grew

What began as individual creative work naturally evolved into something more collaborative.

Projects became partnerships. Shoots became shared experiences. Clients became long-term collaborators. And over time, a network of creatives, small businesses, and community spaces began to form around it.

Mull & Muse exists within that ecosystem. Growing through trust, reciprocity, and shared vision.

What it became

Today, Mull & Muse is a collaborative creative studio rooted in intentional storytelling, community, and meaningful connection.

Our work goes beyond how something looks. We consider how it feels, how it functions, and how it grows over time. Building brands and experiences that are aligned, sustainable, and deeply connected to the people they serve.

At its core, this work is about creating space. For ideas to take form, for people to collaborate, and for something meaningful to be built together.

Hi! I’m Camy, a Bay Area-grown creative and the person behind Mull & Muse.

I move through my work as both a storyteller and a collaborator. Someone who pays attention to the in-between moments, the energy of a space, and the way people connect to everything they enounter. I didn’t land in one medium and stay there. I work across photography, video, creative direction, and events, continuing to explore new practices that allow me to see things from different perspectives and contribute in ways that feel meaningful.

My background in studio art, marketing, and gender studies at San José State University continues to ground how I approach my work. I lead with intention, empathy, and curiosity. Thinking not just about what something looks like, but how it feels to be part of it, and the impact it has over time on the communities it touches.

A lot of what I’m drawn to exists beyond the final deliverable. It’s in the process; collaborating with others, building trust, and creating something that feels aligned while supporting long-term growth.

Outside of client work, you’ll usually find me hosting gatherings & retreats, spending time in nature, or exploring creative and wellness practices that ground me and my community. I also mentor emerging creatives, supporting them as they shape their voice, their work, and the kind of path they want to build.

For me, Mull & Muse isn’t just a name. It’s a state of being and an ongoing practice.
